"I could not possibly say enough great things about Pinnacle Assisted Living! This company is life saving, and life giving. My family member struggles from a traumatic brain injury and persistent mental illness. After years of exhaustion, we finally reached out to them for help. When the administrator, Teegan called me to tell me they were going to help our family; I was driving and had to pull over because I was crying from relief and gratitude.
The house manager, Heather, has been extremely instrumental in the progress my family member has made. She's very aware of the slightest changes in mood and addresses it with whatever is needed immediately. She's truly a gem. Then there's Sean. He spends a great deal of time with my family member and is a great friend to him and someone who genuinely cares about the residents and their feelings. The entire staff is simply amazing. There's so many others who work there and all of them are wonderful and compassionate!
Pinnacle goes very much above and beyond. They treat their residents with respect and dignity. I've popped in with little to no notice to drop something off, only to see everyone laughing and having a good time and an amazing looking dinner coming out of the oven. The meals they prepare are really something else! Then there's the countless outings they go on, from Brewers games to zoo trips to festivals. It's really heart warming to see. When the weather is cold, they still keep things fun with bowling, movies, indoor swimming trips and outside snow fun as well! They encourage family visits at anytime and really listen to any questions or concerns we may have. Their professionalism is incomparable in my opinion.
They make sure that their residents have quality care, quality of life and dignity. I'm forever grateful for Pinnacle. "
"My son had a car accident in April 1988. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, TBI. He was on lift support for 4.5 months. He was tube fed, incontinent, and more. His recovery was very, very slow. I was steadfast by his side. My faith and prayers and those of others are what I believe, got him to where he is today.
That being said in June of 2021 my son had been living in an assisted living apartment for 22 years he also attended a day program run by the same provider. One day to my surprise and shock, all residents got a 30-day notice to vacate and a 30-day notice that the day programming was closing. I was devastated. As a retired property manager I know how hard it is for people to find a place to live that meets their needs (proximity to family, friends work, etc.). Add a disability to that list and the difficulty grows.
My son’s case manager was able to assist us and referred us to Lohff Assisted Living (now PALS). When we toured the house, I was impressed by the fact that the house has 4 private bedrooms and thankfully had availability for 1 resident. The house was located in the perfect spot for my family to visit anytime we want.
I immediately started praying my son would be accepted. A week or so later I received the call that they accepted him! I was so excited.
As of July 2025, my son has lived at his current facility for 4 wonderful years! With the leadership of Penny, the House manager. everything runs smoothly. The staff are very respectful, loving, caring, have great wit and humor, and are very professional. I have very high standards when it comes to Troy. PALS has not disappointed. My son and family are very happy with the care he receives."
